I bought this just before Thanksgiving. It was the perfect size for all our dishes that had to be chopped or pureed. We use it for onions and garlic all the time..Easy to use and easy to clean. It was a good price also.

I purchased this chopper a month ago and kits made my life so much easier. No more chopping on cutting boards, I just put things in and it chops away, clean up is so easy. I like the idea of the opening on top to add oils. Really well made and simple to use. It goes well on my counter next to my Stand mixer.

A compact unit, it does a thorough job, and is easy to clean - which is why I wanted a new chopper. I was using a machine in which the blade was integral to the base to chop chicken for my cat's food. It did a fine job of preparing the food, but was too difficult to clean as chicken is quite sticky, and the thigh meat has sinews which wrap around the base of the chopper blade. The KitchenAid blade unit separates completely from the base and is therefore very easy to clean. And it is very quiet - I often do this project after everyone is my apartment is asleep. It did take a second reading of the user guide to remember that the lid just lifts off - does not need to be rotated!
This is a fine, solid, medium-capacity unit.- it is compact, does a thorough job of chopping and pureeing as promoted, and stores easily. I am completely satisfied with this machine.
Having had it for a just few months I can't speak for long term durability, but have no doubts that it will last my lifetime - I still use some kitchen equipment that my mother and grandmother owned, so I value longevity as much as functionality.

I replaced my old food chopper from a smaller one to this size. It is a perfect size and does a fantastic job. The only complaint I have is that it seemed a little complicated to get it to start. But once you got everything connected I have not had a problem

Hate it!. It is extremely difficult to attach the top to the base. Had to read the directions numerous times to figure out you had to hold the handle and twist. Small appliances should be easy to use, and this isn't! Really surprised at KitchenAid. Normally love their appliances.

Upon using several other brand name choppers to chop my dog's food (she's a senior and has difficulty chewing dry food), I found them all to fail after only a few uses. After doing some research I decided to try the mini chopper from Kitchenaid and so far it seems to be working out very well. Although Kitchenaid doesn't advertise for this particular use (chopping dog food), it works perfectly for this task!! I give it 5 stars overall for efficiency, value, and quality.

Everyone I know loves their big food processors, but I never liked them. I bought this 3.5 cup foot chopper because I thought maybe I would actually use something smaller for daily vegetable chopping jobs. I should have bought this years ago.
It is quick, easy, intuitive, can be picked up with one hand, easy to clean, and does a nice uncomplicated job of reducing big pieces to little pieces of anything. I love it for processing garlic, bread crumbs, creaming home made salad dressing, vegetables, etc.
It does not have a giant capacity, multiple chopping blades, and does not take a mechanical engineering degree or psychoanalysis to operate. One function. Run it longer if you want smaller pieces. Nice. Bonus: the cord wraps around the base and the whole thing fits neatly in my pantry shelf, ready for next time. Really nice engineering design.

I purchased this mighty chopper because I couldn't keep bringing the big food processor out for small "jobs". I love it! I do wish it came in the sea glass color as I had seen the mixer and loved it, but my grey fits/matches everything in my kitchen. When I bought this mini food processor for a very reasonable price of 49$ I didn't expect that it will become one of my favorite tools. I love it! Great for everything - chopped salads, salsas, dates and nuts cakes, creams, smoothie bowls and especially for nicecreams - they are perfectly smooth. Practical for small portions. Even my 10 year kid is making nicecreams. Easy to work and clean it. I strongly recommend it!

I liked this chopper so much that I bought a second one for when I'm multi-tasking for big extended family dinners. I've tried different brands over the years but this one out performs them all by a mile! Not only is it too cute to store in your cupboards, it is powerful, easy to use and clean up is a breeze.
